Goats update

No restrictions on using the goats for a few days. No livestock ownership allowed in the city. I asked if the goats could be considered a pet. The answer is yes if you keep them in your house, which is not likely, stinky things. I used to volunteer at the children's petting zoo in high school. I remember the smell of the goat pen.

The city ordinance contact said a few days would be fine or until a neighbor complains and reports the goats, at which time they would send out someone to give us a warning to get rid of the goats. I am guessing the goats will be long gone by then or at least that is the plan. I am hopeful the Goat Trimmer has a sign on his truck, so the neighbors all know this is a landscaping service and temporary. Tom thought we should contact the neighbors and let them know, but we are not up there yet to let the neighbors know. He also didn't want to wait on the contract necessarily as we want the berries and ivy gone ASAP to make moving in accessible. Right now a truck couldn't make it down the driveway due to the ivy piles and growth blocking the drive.

Our schedule gets tighter and tighter each day that we hear no news. All I get from the realtor is that the contract is being considered by the investors. No wonder the economy has stalled if it is taking four months to buy a house with cash.
