Tom said "We sure are raking in the doctor bills." Trevor came home from practice with his back still bugging him. Coach told him he wants a doctor's clearance before he lets Trevor play again. He will give him a pass for today to get the appointment without penalizing him for the first game. All Freshmen are getting a pass today, a day of rest. Coach doesn't want to burn everyone out.
I have a noon appointment for Trevor. It was so nice to see that the new doctors office gets the urgency of sports injuries. Tom wanted an appointment with his new doctor and was put off a few days. Trevor gets his appointment within hours.
I still need to get records sent for all of us.
the tenant came up with the deposit money. She will be coming up with the rest by the first I am told. I will let my property manager deal with it. I was talking to a woman at our insurance company. She shared with me that she also was a landlord and found that without a property manager, taking care of tenants was a pain in the rear. I will be happy once things settle down.
I can only hope this tenant turns out to work out for us. I am a little leery. Once we miss the summer window, it will be harder to rent. Meanwhile I am hanging shelves and preparing to unpack books. Still have not found those books I bought Tom. I have opened every book box. I will just have to unpack them all. But where do I put all those books. That is the question.
The bid came back for the laundry and new wall in Riley's room, $3500. Tom asked me to wait. I asked the handyman if he could tell me how much just for the laundry. Maybe if I break each project down into smaller segments we can afford to do one a month. Tom said he would like his gas range installed for Christmas. That is $2500 just to get the gas in place.
I am looking for a kitchen planner to come run some ideas by us. She might come up with some ideas we haven't thought of. Reconfiguring the kitchen on a budget is tricky.
